Hey everyone! I know its been awhile since I’ve posted! Things are crazy as we move into spring! Here’s the craziest of the crazy things:
- my truck is continually in traction
- we’re redesigning much of our publicity! bulletins, brochures, signs, certain parts of our website. It’s a lot of work, but really neat to see more and more of my pieces in the regular life of the church!
- lifepointe has a TON of events this time of year. Just this week, we’ve got our leadership community, our lifepointe band playing at the minor league baseball team’s faith night TONIGHT!!! and a kids movie night Saturday night in the steele creek community.
- I moved into a new apartment! I now really live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m in the steele creek community and live really close to everyone I see week in and week out on sunday mornings (if you forgot, I’m not the Steele Creek campus worship guy, so I basically stay planted at one campus for worship leading now)
- I had family vacation!! I’ve actually been traveling a lot the last couple months. JBC Homecoming seeing lots of good friends, I was a youth sponsor for a high school weekend retreat, had fam vacay on the outer banks, and we’ll be going to a big church planting conference right after easter.
Anyway, lots happening, wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten you all! I love you all and your support has been a greater blessing than I think I could describe. Though in my next newsletter coming up towards the end of April, I will try : )
In the meantime, check out our new blog for the Creative Arts Ministry at Lifepointe called www.invisibleservants.com. Once my time of needing financial support comes to a close (more info in the next newsletter!), our Invisible Servants blog will probably be the best way for you to keep up with our ministry. We’re pretty excited about this and hope to use it as a resource for other churches and leaders like us trying to make Creative arts happen in the church!
