Hey everyone! So… I made an intro video and everything of me just talking about things coming up and after looking at it the next, decided it is just TOO lame to even build into the post. ha. Seriously, it was lame. BUT you will learn about some cool things happening through my update newsletter.

The Lifepointe staff just got back from the Exponential Church planting conference in Orlando florida. there were tons of great speakers that God used to speak truth into lots of church planters’ lives. They’ll eventually have some of the mp3′s up from speakers from this year, but in the mean time, feel free to peruse some of the audio from past years (click here!).

We’ve got some great series coming up, you can listen to some of our messages on our website too. Our current is about looking at what it really means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We’ll be looking at what others often see in Christians that turn them away and how we be a follower that lives differently.

Lastly, here’s some stories shared by some of our very own Lifepointers that we used on Easter to end out our Overcomers series. Through the month of April, we talked about seeing God in the midst of our pain and that through Jesus and his power, we are overcomers in all situations; no matter what comes against us. Hey everyone! I know its been awhile since I’ve posted! Things are crazy as we move into spring! Here’s the craziest of the crazy things:

my truck is continually in traction
we’re redesigning much of our publicity! bulletins, brochures, signs, certain parts of our website. It’s a lot of work, but really neat to see more and more of my pieces in the regular life of the church!
lifepointe has a TON of events this time of year. Just this week, we’ve got our leadership community, our lifepointe band playing at the minor league baseball team’s faith night TONIGHT!!! and a kids movie night Saturday night in the steele creek community.
I moved into a new apartment! I now really live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I’m in the steele creek community and live really close to everyone I see week in and week out on sunday mornings (if you forgot, I’m not the Steele Creek campus worship guy, so I basically stay planted at one campus for worship leading now)
I had family vacation!! I’ve actually been traveling a lot the last couple months. JBC Homecoming seeing lots of good friends, I was a youth sponsor for a high school weekend retreat, had fam vacay on the outer banks, and we’ll be going to a big church planting conference right after easter.

Anyway, lots happening, wanted to let you know I haven’t forgotten you all! I love you all and your support has been a greater blessing than I think I could describe. Though in my next newsletter coming up towards the end of April, I will try : )

In the meantime, check out our new blog for the Creative Arts Ministry at Lifepointe called www.invisibleservants.com. Once my time of needing financial support comes to a close (more info in the next newsletter!), our Invisible Servants blog will probably be the best way for you to keep up with our ministry. We’re pretty excited about this and hope to use it as a resource for other churches and leaders like us trying to make Creative arts happen in the church!

New Signs for Steele Creek

I thought I would share this with you all. These are the concepts for the new signs for our Steele Creek Campus for the 1st of the year. Pretty excited about them, our Arts Resident, Amber Elwood designed the Cafe sign!

Hello all! lots of craziness these past couple months. Some really exciting changes to read about in the update. I haven’t had time to make a spiffy video nor have i made any really exciting ones as of late for the church. But i WILL come up with something fun an exciting for the Christmas season kind of like last years.

Hope Turkey day was a blast and you all have felt as blessed as i have. Hopefully i’ll get to catch up with some of you soon!

Hey everyone. This month i was totally going to make a unique video, but ended up having this video project come up instead which turned out quite nicely. It’s our Fort Mill Campus pastor Nate Siemon talking about our history and how every step was completely covered in dangerous praying. The aspect ratio woudn’t turn out right when i uploaded it, sooooo sorry about that, you’ll just have to squint or something.
